Lease Telecom launches smartphone trade-in service

Lease Telecom, the market’s leading funder of smartphones for business, has launched its device trade-in service, offering £500 cashback per device via it’s Partner portal.

Partners can initiate trade-in requests at the click of a button, with little to no effort required from either Partner or end user.

Via a dedicated Trade-In section of the Lease Portal, Partners can select a pre-existing customer, click to initiate the trade-in for used mobile handsets and simply await an invoice instruction to be served.

Lease Telecom collects the equipment from the customer or Partner as directed and pays the full list price based on 3 simple requirements:

1. The device powers up
2. The screen is fully functioning
3. There are no account locks (i.e. iCloud, Google).

Lease Telecom offers a market leading £500 for the iPhone X 256GB, with self-service pricing available via the Lease Portal for other Apple and Samsung models.

“This long-awaited launch is in keeping with our mantra ‘Lease, Recycle, Repeat’, and does so in the simplest of ways”, commented Simon Fabb, Sales and Marketing Director of Lease Telecom.

“We’re helping Partners and Customers to leverage the value left in their used devices, paying top prices and making the process completely hands-off for all involved.”

Each Trade-In can be tracked via the Lease Portal, from initial request through to collection, auditing and pay out.

The service, which meets all environmental and GDPR requirements, is aimed at Lease Telecom’s Partner channel, which consists of 350+ mobile, UC and IT resellers, major networks and distribution, and generates £3M in new smartphone sales each month.
